Or blue donkey? Who could choose between two animals? We can\u2019t. So on Election Day 2012, we\u2019re leaving electoral votes and margin of error reporting to CNN. Instead, we chatted with Dallas-native and White House style expert, <a title=\"Jennifer Pickens\" href=\"..\/..\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jennifer Pickens<\/a>. Fresh from the success of her first book, <a title=\"Christmas at the White House\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Christmas-White-House-Reflections-Americas\/dp\/0615287646\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1349204500&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=christmas+at+the+white+house\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Christmas at the the White House<\/em><\/a>, she just published her second book,\u00a0<em><a title=\"Pets at the White House\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Pets-White-House-Years-Presidents\/dp\/0615580637\" target=\"_blank\">Pets and the White House<\/a>.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>Through years of research, Jennifer found over\u00a0200 insightful photos (most have never been published before) of The First Families and their four-legged companions. Jennifer\u2019s story gives unexpectedly endearing glimpses into daily life at The White House. LBJ rescued Yuki from a gas station in his hometown, Johnson City, Texas. Despite having several other dogs including a pair of beagles named His and Hers, Yuki was LBJ\u2019s favorite. Executive White House pastry chef, Roland\u00a0Mesnier, says, \u201cMillie was the only truly presidential dog. She was presidential to the core.\u201d When Mrs. Bush sat down, so would Millie.
