Bush and chief of staff to First Lady Laura Bush from 2005-2009).<\/p>\n During her time at the White House, Anita had primary responsibility for the First Lady\u2019s efforts to support US foreign policy objectives in human rights, women\u2019s empowerment, global health and human freedom.
